Community Service Video
Completion of the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care provides students with both the theory and the practical experience that underpin workplace skills in the Child Care industry and various other Community Services organisations. This course will give students a taste of the Child Care industry and develop a range of skills that will assist in both the workplace and in relating to children in everyday life. Students will work on a range of activities, which focus on communication with children, behaviour guidance, occupational health and safety, preparing nutritious foods, basic administration and an introduction to the importance of play for children. The full qualification can be gained over 3 semesters. However, students can exit after 2 semesters with a Statement of Attainment (partial completion of Certificate III).
