Students will undertake competency based training on and off the job in: OHSW, White Card, Manual Handling, First Aid, levelling, trench calculations, drain cleaning, copper tube work and workshop practices for the plumbing trade. This program provides the opportunity for participants to experience, first hand; work in the plumbing industry while at school and to gain the base level qualification, Certificate I in Construction (Plumbing). It provides participants with industry-accepted skills that may benefit them in the transition from school to work.

Pre-Course Experiences/Pre-requisites

No pre-requisites to study this qualification, however, suitable for students:

·         In year 11 and 12

·         Have a passion for being part of the Building Industry
