Certificate II Automotive Servicing Technology

Course Description
On successful completion of this pre-apprenticeship course you will have gained credits to enter your full apprenticeship in the automotive industry. This certificate will also lead onto Certificate III in many of the automotive courses.

Pre-Course Experiences/Pre-requisites
No pre-requisites to study this qualification, however, suitable for students:

  • In year 11 who have a desire for being part of the Automotive Industry
  • Adequate Literacy & Numeracy Skills

Structured Work Placement
Students are required to undertake 140 hours of work placement. This is to be undertaken off site and must be clearly related to the student’s career pathway. A compulsory logbook must be kept and completed by student and work place provider.
